Bramblestar padded slowly into the dark musky cave. It had moss cobwebs, and almost anything that a medicince cat would want. Well, medicine cat heaven. Bramblestar thought, rolling her ice blue eyes. She padded forward and squinted. There was a giant stone that was so bright, it made the sun look dark. Bramblestar took a deep breath and slowly she padded toward the giant stone and laid down on the moss. Well, here it goes. I was the deputy, Brambleleaf, but when this is over I'll be Bramblestar. Bramblestar thought, smiling. She touched her nose to the stone and fell into a deep sleep............
Bramblestar opened her eyes. She was in some weird land that was covered with clouds. "Whats this....." Bramblestar wondered, prodding the clouds with her paws. Bramblestar suddenly realized she must be getting her nine lives ceremony. "Oh," Bramblestar mewed, her eyes twinkiling. Suddenly two brown tabbys appeared out of no whwere. Bramblestar gaped at teh couple, and her eyes filled with tears. Mom.... Dad... The two tabbys had a soft expression on their faces. The she-cat stepped forward. "We're so proud..." She mewed, tears flooding off her face and her purple eyes shining with pain. The tom stepped next to the she cat, his muscles rippeled and he had battle scars all over his face. Dad I-I___"
Her father's eyes shown with pain. "It's ok Brambleleaf. I shouldn't have punished you when you were an apprentice." "But I'm here! I made it! I'm a leader!" "Not yet you're not." The she-cat whispered. "Now lets get started." She stepped forward. "May starclan give you strength." She mewed, touching her nose. A Spasm of pain spread throught Bramblestar's body. She wanted to yowl, but held her tounge. Her father stepped forward. "May starclan give you guidance." Her mewed, touching noses with Bramblestar. Another spasm rushed thorugh Bramblestar. Then a ginger cat stepped forward. "Maplebreeze... My best friend." "May starclan give you cleverness.." Maplebreeze mewed, her minty green eyes sparkiling.
Then six more cats stepped forward and gave her starclan's will.. "You may wake up..." Her mother mewed. "No... NO!!!" Bramblestar mewed, she sprinted to try to say goodbye to everyone but the farther and faster she ran the farther they were form her. Suddenly Bramblestar woke with a start. "It's done.... I'm a leader now..." Bramblestar mewed. She stood on her legs, they were shaking wildly and she sprinted out of the cave for her long journey home... To Windclan..
